Arlington Ridge
Golf Club
Leesburg, FL
2014 – Present
In another example of the Down To Earth Golf business plan in action, Arlington Ridge Golf Club, which abuts The Plantation at Leesburg, came to us.
After consistently hearing of the outstanding conditions at the 36 holes at The Plantation Golf Club, Arlington Ridge ownership directly contacted Down To Earth, resulting in a service contract that was finalized in November 2014. By retaining a large portion of the club’s maintenance staff, Down To Earth was able to transition quickly and seamlessly incorporate the needs at Arlington Ridge with our policies and procedures. We continue to be the golf maintenance company of choice for the club to this day.
The Arlington Ridge Golf Club championship course features a river that winds along the southern boundary while centuries-old oaks claim a commanding presence throughout all 18 holes. These majestic oak canopies provide picture-worthy backdrops to greens and fairways along the way.
Ranging from 4,877 yards from the front tees and 6,610 total yards from the back tees, the course’s respectable par 71 is truly member-friendly. With 5 sets of tee boxes at each hole, it’s the kind of course that can be played virtually every day and still present a new challenge each time. Avid golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of well-placed hazards, elevated greens, and a dogleg approach. Not to be left behind, beginners also will have a great shot at finishing a satisfying round. In short, everyone — no matter their skill level — heads to the 19th hole happy.
